Austin, Trejo jump to ‘Recoil’

Indie film to seek action at Cannes marketplace

Steve Austin and Danny Trejo are toplining indie actioner ”Recoil,” produced by Nasser Group North in association with Caliber Media Co.

Austin (”The Expendables”) will portray an ex-cop who’s life is ripped apart when his family is viciously murdered. He then makes it his life’s passion to find those responsible and serve up his own kind of justice.

Trejo portrays a cold-hearted killer who is seeking his own vengeance against the ex-cop over the murder of his brother.

Jim Harvey of Studio City Pictures is representing the sale of film to foreign buyers at the upcoming Cannes marketplace.

Sullivan has also written ”Science Fair” for Disney and ”Rapid” for Sony. Miles is developing a feature

entitled ”Timelock” with IM Global.

Sullivan’s repped by WME, Film Engine and attorneys Rick Genow and Mike Shutello. Miles is repped by H2F Entertainment. Gloria Hinojosa reps Trejo. Austin is repped by Caliber and attorneys Jeff Finkelstein and Loan Dang.

Austin is currently the host and judge of USA Network’s show “WWE Tough Enough.”
