Arts Alliance pact with Finnkino

Company to digitize Finnish exhib's screens

LONDON — Arts Alliance Media has inked with Finland’s Finnkino Cinemas to digitize all of the exhib’s screens.

The virtual print fee deal will cover all Finnkino’s 88 screens at 14 sites, and will see each screen converted to DCI-compliant digital theaters over the next 18 months. Finnkino screens that are already digitally equipped will be rolled into the deal and covered by existing VPF agreements.

Arts Alliance already has more than 3,000 European screens signed up to its VPF deals. Earlier this week, the company pacted with a raft of local distributors in the Netherlands for a VPF roll out.
