BERLIN — ARC Entertainment in collaboration with Barry Gordon’s XLrator Media, picked up U.S. rights to epic medieval thriller “Ironclad” from ContentFilm International.
ARC will release the pic theatrically in June.
Pic, which toplines James Purefoy, Kate Mara and Paul Giamatti, tells the story of a motley crew of tough, battle hardened warriors, who withstand several brutal and bloody months under siege in a bid to protect their country.
Pic is helmed by Jonathan English, from a script by English, Erick Kastel and Stephen McDool. It is produced by Mythic International Entertainment’s Rick Benattar, Andrew Curtis and English.
Gordon and ARC’s Matthew Smith negotiated the deal with Content’s Jamie Carmichael and Rich Kwak and CAA.
