The American Film Market will launch a five-day conference program at this year’s market, which is set for Nov. 2-9 in Santa Monica.
Series will kick off with a finance conference Nov. 4. Execs will explore the current state of independent film financing, emerging trends, new opportunities and what the future holds.
The Nov. 5 pitch conference will give attendees the tools to successfully pitch an idea to a panel of Hollywood decisionmakers, who will give them constructive criticism and feedback.
Also skedded is a marketing day on Nov. 6, a production focus on Nov. 7 and a distribution conference on Nov. 8.
AFM will also introduce an Industry Conversations program with 14 discussions led by trendsetters and experts, free to all market attendees.
