In its first buy coming out of Park City, Oscilloscope has nabbed rights in English-speaking territories to helmer Evan Glodell’s directorial debut “Bellflower” with plans to release the pic Stateside this summer.
Deal was brokered by Oscilloscope’s David Fenkel and CAA on behalf of the filmmakers.
“Bellflower,” about a pair of eccentric L.A.-based friends who spend their time preparing for the apocalypse, preemed at this year’s Sundance Film Fest. Pic was scribed by Glodell, who also stars alongside Jessie Wiseman, Tyler Dawson, Rebekah Brandes and Vincent Grashaw.
Glodell and Grashaw produced through their Coatwolf Prods. shingle.
