Blake Lively will get CinemaCon’s Breakthrough Performer of the Year Award at the inaugural confab’s March 31 gala.
Lively appears next in Warner Bros.’ “Green Lantern,” out June 17. Her co-star, Ryan Reynolds, is receiving CinemaCon’s Male Star of the Year Award.
Lively first gained attention with 2005’s “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” but shot to stardom in 2007 when she landed the role of Serena van der Woodsen on the CW’s “Gossip Girl.”
Other film credits include “Accepted,” “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” and “The Town.” She is currently in production on “Hick.”
CinemaCon takes place March 28-31 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
