Tatiana Siegel checked in with the two young stars of “Hugo” at this week’s premiere.
Forget the old-school Twitter feed. Chloe Grace Moretz is documenting her every move on the “Hugo” campaign via J.A.R.V.I.S., available at the Apple app store. At the Nov. 21 premiere in New York, the “Kick-Ass” actress and frequent Tweeter said she has moved on to the Paramount Digital app, which manages one’s personalized social media feed, while thumping for the awards-season contender (a Paramount release, natch). “It’s like the best thing ever,” enthused the 14-year-old actress from the Ziegfeld Theatre’s red carpet. “(I’ll be posting) lots of photos, lots of quotes, lots of things that will keep you in the loop with me and the event tonight.”
For Moretz, the night’s highlights included catching up with co-star Asa Butterfield. “I treat him like my little brother,” said Moretz, who will appear in a handful of films next year including Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows.” “Even though he’s only 8 weeks younger than me, I call him my little nugget.”
Meanwhile, Butterfield, who was seeing the “Hugo” final cut for the first time, said he was eager to see himself in an extra dimension. “I actually think it’s going to be a bit weird,” said the Brit thesp, who has never appeared in 3-D before, — except, of course, for real life. — Tatiana Siegel
