'Sunshine,' 'Elizabeth,' 'Babe' included in deal
Universal Pictures is the latest studio to offer up a library of pics to Amazon’s Instant Video service.They include “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Elizabeth,” “Gosford Park,” “Babe,” “Flipper,” “Jetsons — The Movie,” “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,” “Notting Hill,” “Being John Malkovich,” “Fletch” and “Billy Elliot.” Prime Instant Video members will be able to choose from more than 2,000 movies to stream, as part of their annual membership. Deal with Amazon was handled through NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution. Including TV shows, Amazon’s library now consists of more than 9,000 movies and TV show episodes, available on 300 devices. An Amazon Prime membership costs $79 a year.
