Netflix will issue credits to subscribers affected by an hours-long outage that grounded the streaming service Tuesday.
The company sent emails to subscribers whose viewing was interrupted offering a refund, a Netflix spokesman confirmed. Netflix didn’t offer a specific cause for the outage beyond characterizing it as a “rare technical issue.” Estimates of the outage vary from two to eight hours.
