Flingo pacts with Collective Digital Studio

Device moves web content to television

Flingo is teaming with Collective Digital Studio to offer more web-generated content to television screens.

Flingo, a device that allows users to move their web content from the Internet to TVs and set top boxes, will work with CDS clients to bring popular online celebrities such as the Annoying Orange, Fred, FreddieW and iJustine to more users.

“Our goal is to ensure that our artists and partners enjoy ubiquitous distribution of their content on as many platforms as possible,” said Michael Green, CEO of the Collective.

The Annoying Orange, a character created by Dane Boedigheimer, is currently being shopped around to various kid networks as a possible series.
