Variety Arabia logs onto the Web kicks off

Variety Arabia has launched its online version as the Cannes fest begins. The website, which includes both English and Arabic content, include breaking stories, in-depth features, photos, videos, film trailers, blogs, detailed coverage of film festivals, film reviews and job listings.

“We believe the launch of Variety Arabia website is an important tool for all those involved in the media and entertainment industry, and we hope we’ll become the most popular website for the industry,” said Variety Arabia operations director Charles Rodgers. He explained that the website will provide an important platform for Arab entertainment industry players to put their work, including trailers and videos, in front of millions of users around the world.

“This is an important step for Variety Arabia, as it offers readers more platforms and more opportunities to stay in touch with the rapid growth and changes in MENA showbiz,” said Variety group editor Timothy Gray.

The Variety Arabia website reflects what’s happening in the world of cinema in the Arab region and beyond. The website, aims at providing timely, credible and independent news and analysis of the entertainment and media industry in the MENA region, and provides users with the ability to download the magazine, including current and previous issues, subscription and advertising information. Variety Arabia is the Middle East and North African edition of Variety.
