Digital cinema provider Offhollywood will supply equipment, crews, workflow and post services for the 3D feature “Hellbenders,” the first indie feature film to shoot on Red Epic cameras. Along with cameras, Offhollywood will help provide an Atom rig from Element Technica and worked with vfx house The Molecule to develop a streamlined 4K stereo 3D vfx pipeline for the production.
Gotham post house Sixteen19 is celebrating its first anniversary. The shingle, which also has offices in L.A, New Orleans and London, was founded by Pete Conlin and Jonathan Hoffman in the legendary Brill Building. Businesses include DI, editing, color correction, mobile dailies, on- set data management and finishing for audience previews. Clients include “Black Swan,” “The Adjustment Bureau,” “Treme” and Morgan Spurlock’s upcoming “Greatest Movie Ever Sold.”
Another young Gotham indie, vfx/design house Phosphene has moved to expanded quarters. “We grew faster than we anticipated and we needed more space,” said company founder/creative director John Blair. Projects have included HBO’s “Treme,” “The Adjustment Bureau” and Jodie Foster’s upcoming “The Beaver.”
