“Your Money, Your Vote,” aka the debate that will forever be remembered for Rick Perry’s brian freeze, drew 3.3 million viewers on Wednesday.
That’s a far cry from the 6.1 million viewers who tuned in to Fox News’ Florida debate in September, but a big boost for CNBC. Politico reports that network had its biggest audience since 1997, when it covered the O.J. Simpson civil verdict. (That stat excludes coverage of the Olympics.)
In terms of total viewers, the debate ranks 6th among all of the debates so far. The next matchup is Saturday, when CBS News presents a debate from South Carolina.
