The GOP debate at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, Calif., is just the start of many match ups as the presidential race inches closer to primary season. Today Fox and Google announced that they are sponsoring a debate on Sept. 22 in Florida, where YouTube users can submit questions in video or text format.
Back in 2007, Democrats participated in the first YouTube debate, which made for some interesting moments, like videos of a talking snowman and another of an off-kilter gun owner, the latter of whom earned the mockery of then-candidate Joseph Biden.
Bret Baier will moderate the Fox debate, with Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace also on the panel, reports Variety’s Sam Thielman. The video introducing the debate is below.
