The real big news would be if the White House had lined up Tea Party supporter Hank Williams Jr.
Instead, the East Wing has set a lineup for the next "In Performance at the White House" for a celebration of country music that includes Alison Krauss, Lauren Alaina, The Band Perry. Dierks Bentley, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle Lovett, Mickey, Darius Rucker and James Taylor.
The event on Monday will be the seventh in First Lady Michelle Obama's music series, and the during the day she will host 120 students from the D.C. area for a workshop on the history of country music, led by the Grammy Museum's executive director, Robert Santelli.
The events will be streamed live on the White House site, whitehouse.gov.
