Former legal counselor will focus on films, series
BERLIN — ZDF Enterprises, the commercial arm of German pubcaster ZDF, has tapped Eva Reifferscheid to succeed Britta Meyermann on its license acquisitions team.
Reifferscheid has worked for the Mainz media corporation for five years, and was most recently in charge of the legal management of license contracts.
Transferring from legal counseling to the operative field, Reifferscheid will join the buyers’ team in time for next week’s Mip TV programming mart in Cannes.
The 34-year-old Reiffersheid will be responsible for the purchase of feature films and series, and supplement the team of acquisitions manager Juergen Steimer.
ZDF Enterprises prexy and CEO Alexander Coridass said, “Besides attending to acquisitions, which we carry out directly for ZDF and other broadcasters, she will lend her support to Margrit Staerk in the field of independent purchasing operations for ZDF Enterprises’ own investments.”
