Wolfe takes ‘Suicide Room’ in U.S.

Techno thriller screened at Berlinale

Wolfe Releasing has nabbed U.S. rights to Polish techno thriller “Suicide Room,” which screened in Berlin’s Panorama section.

Pic, which has grossed $4.6 million at the Polish B.O., follows a high-achieving teen who, faced with humiliation at school, retreats into a sinister online world.

Danish sales company LevelK handled the U.S. deal on the pic, which was helmed by Jan Komasa, and produced by Jerzy Kapuscinski and Wojciech Kabarowski for Film Studio KADR. Pic was supported by the Polish Film Institute.
