Relativity Media has inked a four-year deal with Spanish distributor Tripictures.

The arrangement calls for Tripictures to oversee distribution of Relativity-produced features in Spain.

“We are very pleased with this new partnership. Spain is a vital market and we are fortunate to be in business with Tripictures, a leading local distributor that keenly understands and engages the region’s audience,” said Relativity’s chief operating officer Steve Bertram, who oversees the company’s international distribution business.

Relativity’s Andrew Marcus and Paul Davidge negotiated the deal with Tripictures.

TriPictures is currently distributing Relativity’s Oscar contender “The Fighter” across all media in Spain, and will also be handle the releases of Relativity’s “Season of the Witch” and “Limitless.”

Other upcoming Relativity releases include “Take Me Home Tonight,” “Immortals” and David R. Ellis’ untitled 3D shark thriller.
