Moving Pictures signs sales at Filmart

Slate includes 'Nobody,' 'Skies,' 'Robin Hood'

Moving Pictures Film and Television signed a series of sales for its slate of pics at this month’s Hong Kong Filmart, including additional sales on its dark comedy “Miss Nobody” and the horror/sci-fi film “Grey Skies.”

In deals made by Ted Chalmers, executive veep in the Film Division, “Grey Skies” and 3D film “Robin Hood: Ghosts of Sherwood” were both sold to HGC Ent. in China, while both “Grey Skies” and “300 Killers” were sold to Soundspace Intl. in Indonesia.

Additional sales on “Grey Skies” include a three-picture deal with Tiberius in Germany, also including “From the Shadows” and “Girls of Summer.”

It’s been a busy month for Moving Pictures, which also sold “Miss Nobody” to TeleMunchen in Germany, Carmen Films in Russia, Viasat in Scandinavia and Mnet in South Africa in the run-up to Filmart.
