Japan network wins three dayparts

TOKYO — Fuji TV won the ratings crown for 2010, according to numbers compiled by the Video Research ratings service.

Net swept the board for the seventh year in a row, besting four rival commercial webs and pubcaster NHK for the golden (7-10 p.m.), primetime (7-11 p.m.) and all-day (6 a.m.-midnight) time-slots.

Fuji, which scored an average rating of 13.0 for golden, 12.9 for prime and 8.3 for all-day for the year, has long focused on younger demos.
