TXTV drama airs on ITV1 this spring
LONDON — FremantleMedia Enterprises has added another title to its international drama slate that will bow at the Mip TV sales mart, which unspools April 4.
Two-parter “The Reckoning” joins other FME dramas “The Sinking of the Laconia,” “Exile” and “The Crimson Petal and the White.”
“The Reckoning” is produced by TXTV for ITV1 in Blighty and is expected to air later this spring.
Show features Ashley Jensen alongside Max Beesley in a story about single mom Sally, who stands to inherit £5 million ($8 million) from a mysterious benefactor on one condition: She must kill a man.
FME global CEO David Ellender said: “‘The Reckoning’ is part of our first look deal with TXTV and is a brilliant drama that we’re confident will travel really well.”
