Sales include 'BFGN,' 'Busted,' 'Geek'

LONDON — Unscripted specialist Fox Look has unveiled a raft of international licensing deals for its formats and finished shows.

The format for “Big Family Game Night,” in which teams play Hasbro board games for cash prizes, has been optioned by Chinese state broadcaster CCTV and Constantin in Germany, and more than 90 finished episodes of the U.S. show have been sold to SolarTV/RPN in the Philippines.

SolarTV has also licensed hidden-camera series “Busted and Disgusted” and surprise-makeover series “Ambush Makeover.”

India’s Bulldog Media and Entertainment Reality, Ukraine’s 1+1 Channel and Greece’s Kapa Studios have bought the format rights to “Beauty and the Geek,” and Seven Network in Australia and RAI in Italy are in negotiations to produce further series of the show.

Reality series “Jilted,” in which would-be brides give their commitment-phobic boyfriends marry-me-or-else ultimatums, has been sold to Network Ten in Australia and FIC in the Middle East.

Sales have also been closed for “The Academy” to MBC in the Middle East, “The Swan” to TV Asahi in Japan and TNT in Russia, “Trading Spouses” to SBS Netherlands and VMMa Belgium, “The Ex-Wives Club” to TNT in Russia and “Decision House” to Digicast in Italy.
