S. African investigative journo feted at TV fest
TORONTO — South African investigative journalist Liz Fish will receive the inaugural David Suzuki Green Producer Award at the Banff World Media Festival’s Rockies industry awards lunch next week, the fest announced Tuesday morning.Renamed in honor of the long-time CBC host (“The Nature of Things”) and activist, the award recognizes the professional and personal achievements of an individual who has raised awareness of scientific and environmental issues through visual media.
