The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy has launched its latest search for the U.K.’s next generation of movie-making talent.
The academy, which provides a link between the film biz and media education, is holding auditions for the cast and crew for four full-length features, to be made over the summer break. The move gives 14-25 year-old students the opportunity to work with professional filmmakers in a variety of departments. The initiative is funded with a £500,000 ($813,000) grant from retail chain the Co-operative Group.
