Wide sells Panahi's 'Not a Film' to Cinecitta Luce
CANNES — TLA Releasing has nabbed U.S. and U.K. rights to Jean-Marc Barr and Pascal Arnold’s “American Translation.”
The French film, repped by Wide Management, was also picked up by Only Hearts (Japan) and Lumix (South Korea).
Wide also has revealed other sales.
Jafar Panahi and Mojtaba Mirtahmasb’s docu “This Is Not a Film,” which plays in Cannes as a Special Screening, was picked up by Cinecitta Luce for Italy.
U.K.’s Cinefile nabbed Ryan Redford’s “Oliver Sherman.”
“Private Romeo” was acquired by Germany’s Salzgeber & Co. Medien.
“A Wedding Most Strange” was taken by Pro-Fun Media for German-speaking territories.
“A Life for Ballet” went to Alcine Terran in Japan.
