CBS has officially announced that its new all-about-moms talkshow — featuring Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete, Leah Remini and Marissa Jaret Winokur — will premiere in the fall.
But there’s no name for the show provided in the press release, which describes the program as “moms with children ranging in age from infant to adult— [who] will swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes through the lens of motherhood.”
Off the top of my head, the following titles came to mind:
“CBS CEO Leslie Moonves’ Wife Julie Chen — And Some Other Women.”
“The Mommy Monologues.”
“Talk is Cheaper Than a Soap.”
“Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah.”
But there must be other suggestions out there.
UPDATE: As usual, the Variety staff has spectacularly risen to the challenge — and on deadline, too.
A number of names poured in from my colleagues, which I’ll limit to the best three:
“A View With a Womb.” (This one, frankly, will be tough to top.)
“My Nanny Raised My Child, and All I Got Was This Stupid TV Show.”
“A Show Only a Mother Could Love.”
