TV Guide net to air Britannia Awards

BAFTA/LA kudocast will air Nov. 7

The TV Guide Network has secured exclusive U.S. rights to broadcast the BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards, marking the first time the kudos will broadcast on American TV.
The kudocast will air Nov. 7 as an hourlong 8 p.m. special on the net, preceded by red carpet coverage at 7:30 p.m. The award ceremony itself, in its 19th year, will be held Nov. 4 at the Century Plaza Hotel.
This year’s Britannia honorees include Michael Sheen, Christopher Nolan, Jeff Bridges, Betty White and Scott Free Prods.’ Tony and Ridley Scott.
The kudos will be hosted by Stephen Fry for the second year in a row.
“BAFTA Los Angeles’ Britannia Awards have found a great home with the TV Guide Network,” said BAFTA Los Angeles chairman Nigel Lythgoe.
Kudos will be produced by Jeff Thacker (“So You Think You Can Dance”) and helmed by Russell Norman (“America’s Got Talent”).
