Three stars from hit broadcast comedies will join nine veteran comedians to headline the 7th New York Comedy Festival, which runs Nov. 3-7.
The fest announced the headliners Monday, showcasing a selection diverse in comedic styles.
Three of the performers have recently found success in TV — Aziz Ansari (“Parks and Recreation”), Joel McHale (“Community”) and Louis C.K. of FX’s recently reupped “Louis.” McHale and Louis C.K. will perform at Carnegie Hall.
Other headliners are Rosie O’Donnell, Adam Carolla, Maz Jobrani, Kevin Hart, Gabriel Iglesias, Brian Regan, Margaret Cho, Luiz Jimenez and Nick Swardson.
Carolla has signed up to do “The Adam Carolla Show” at Caroline’s on Broadway five times in two days — the only headliner to appear twice.
The fest will host more than more than 150 comedians bidding for the Andy Kaufman Award.
Produced by Caroline’s and United Entertainment Group, the fest is presented in association with Comedy Central.
