TBS pays tribute to George Steinbrenner, via week-long ‘Seinfeld’ marathon

The late George Steinbrenner lives on, via “Seinfeld” co-creator Larry David’s voice portrayal of the legendary Yankees owner.

To mark Steinbrenner’s passing this week, TBS is running a full week of episodes featuring Fake Steinbrenner — who began showing up in the fifth season, when George Costanza (Jason Alexander) scored a job with the Yankees.

The ten episodes wrap up with “The Muffin Tops,” in which George is traded by Steinbrenner for a new Yankee Stadium chicken concession.
