Net to air Lisa Kudrow comedy on Nov. 23

Sundance Channel is picking up “The Comeback.”

The HBO series ran in 2005 and starred Lisa Kudrow as a former sitcom star trying to make her way back in show business, and without much luck. Kudrow, who was Emmy nominated for the role, created the series with “Sex and the City” exec producer Michael Patrick King.

Thirteen-episode skein will begin on Sundance Nov. 23 and will air Tuesdays at 11 p.m.

“The Comeback” will be paired with new reality skein “Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys,” which examines relationships between women and their gay best friends. “Boys” is set to debut at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 7.

“Both series feature entertaining, vibrant, colorful characters — people who aren’t afraid of breaking conventions,” said Sundance exec VP-g.m. Sarah Barnett.
