Cabler, with a reach of 68 million homes, has acquired U.S. rights for 11 hourlong episodes of “Ramsay’s Best Restaurant,” in which the chef travels Blighty in search of the best place to dine. Program bowed in the U.K. in September. It’s produced by One Potato Two Potato and distributed by Optomen.
BBC America also procured three seasons (22 half-hours in all) of “Oz and James’s Big Wine Adventure,” starring May and wine critic Oz Clarke. It premiered in 2006 and followed May and Clarke on a trip to France. Subsequent seasons took the pair to California and back to Britain. It’s produced by RDF Television and distribbed by RDF Media.
