Peace joins Trifecta

Exec to head up original programming

Former TV Guide Network development exec Kristin Peace has joined Trifecta Entertainment to head up original programming.

As senior VP of creative affairs, Peace will develop new projects for the distribution and production company.

Launched by former MGM TV execs in 2005, Trifecta distributes series in syndication and cable including “The Hills,” “Punk’d” and “Cold Case Files.”

Shelley Brown, Hank Cohen, Michael Daraio and Scott Spungin are behind Trifecta.

“Her combination of programming savvy, production experience and industry contacts make her a great addition,” said Trifecta Ent. CEO Cohen.

As VP of development, acquisitions and broadband at TV Guide Network, Peace was behind original series and acquired shows such as “American Idol Rewind” and “Punk’d” — across the table from the Trifecta folks.

Peace’s other credits include stints at Paramount Domestic TV, GSN and Fox TV Stations Prods./Foxlab.
