'True Blood,' 'Walking Dead' on tap
Vampires and zombies are making plans to attend the Paley Festival.
“True Blood,” “The Walking Dead,” “American Idol” and a panel that will merge the casts of “Undeclared” and “Freaks and Geeks” have been announced by the Paley Center for Media for the annual TV fest skedded for March 4-18.
The event, which began in 1984, will take place at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills for the second year in a row after moving over from the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. The rest of the lineup will be announced Jan. 19.
Both “True Blood” and “American Idol” have been Paley Fest attractions in the past, but the org often goes back to shows if they’ve had long or popular runs.
Ticket packages will be available on Jan. 19 and individual tickets will go on sale to Paley Center members Jan. 21 and to the general public Jan. 23.
