'Last Comic Standing' judge gets holding deal

“Last Comic Standing” judge Natasha Leggero has landed a talent holding deal at NBC.

Under the pact, NBC will look to cast the comedian-writer in either a pilot or an existing series.

Peacock execs are already well aware of Leggero. Besides her “Last Comic Standing” stint, the actress was cast in the NBC pilot “The Strip” last year and had a recurring role on Comedy Central’s “Reno 911.” She’s also been seen on “The Tonight Show.”

The comedian also provides the voice of Callie Maggotbone on Comedy Central’s “Ugly Americans.” And she recently taped her own half-hour special, set to air in early 2011, for the cabler.

Comedy Central Records is also planning to release a comedy CD from Leggero.
