“The Nate Berkus Show” has been cleared in 90% of the country.
New talker from Harpo Studios and Sony Pictures Television , set to debut Sept. 13 , has been given the go-ahead in all 20 of the country’s top markets, including all 10 of the NBC owned-and-operation stations. “Berkus” will be paired with “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in most Peacock markets in the afternoon.
Other key station groups for the show include Post-Newsweek (including San Antonio and Orlando), Hearst (Boston and Kansas City) and Belo (St. Louis and Portland).
Berkus, a decorator and design expert, is a regular contributor to “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and his upcoming skein will present a broad range of subjects and guests based on lifestyle, entertainment and personal transformation.
Zev Shalev will serve as the series’ exec producer. Terry Murphy is co-exec producer.
“The Nate Berkus Show” is the second series partnership between Harpo and Sony. Their first, “The Dr. Oz Show,” launched in September as the highest-rated first-run syndication premiere in the last seven years.
