“Modern Family” cast members brought les goods for the 10th annual Les Girls benefit at the Avalon in Hollywood for the National Breast Cancer Coalition.
“Modern Family’s” Julie Bowen hosted, making her goal “to not make an ass of myself,” especially when co-host Sofia Vergara fell ill. But, as family does, Ty Burrell stepped in and delivered Vergara’s lines in an appropriately thick Colombian accent. The event honored Les Girls co-founder Arleen Sorkin, wife of “Modern Family” scribe Christopher Lloyd.
Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Busy Philipps, Chris Gorham and Rutina Wesley also performed, and the night boasted a few original tunes: Sharon Lawrence sang (and tastefully stripped to) a commentary-on-society song that included the line, “Lady Gaga’s meat dress scared me to heck, but I’d love one like it made from Glenn Beck.”
