Moderators set for OWN’s ‘All Stars’

'Gayle King Show' to debut Jan. 10

With less than 10 days before the net’s premiere, the Oprah Winfrey Network continues to roll out its programming slate.

Cabler, set to launch Jan. 1, has announced Gayle King and Robin Meade will act as moderators on “Ask Oprah’s All Stars,” a series of four two-hour primetime specials. First telecast is set for Jan. 2, with subsequent shows tabbed for Jan. 9, 16 and 23.

Shot before a live aud, “All Stars” will have experts familiar to Winfrey’s talkshow viewership — Dr. Phil McGraw, Suzie Orman and Dr. Mehmet Oz — answering questions related to health, wealth and mental wellbeing.

OWN has set Jan. 10 as the debut of “The Gayle King Show.” King, editor-at-large of O, the Oprah Magazine, will have her daily Westwood One radio show televised each weekday morning. The network is a joint venture between Discovery Communications and Oprah’s TV shingle, Harpo.
