FX drama adds cast to 13-episode second season

FX will bring back Timothy Olyphant starrer “Justified” on Feb. 9.

Second season of the crime drama, in which Olyphant plays a Kentucky-based U.S. marshal trying to balance his job and a complicated personal life, will run 13 weeks.

Show, created by Graham Yost, is based on the work of author Elmore Leonard. Ratings were strong in season one, and the cabler was quick to renew the skein.

Walton Goggins, Nick Searcy, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Joelle Carter and Natalie Zea co-star. Joining the cast for the second season are Jeremy Davies, Margo Martindale, Joseph Lyle Taylor and Brad William Henke.

Exec producers are Yost, Leonard, Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman, Fred Golan and Michael Dinner. Show is produced by Sony Pictures Television and FX Prods.

FX recently canceled “Terriers” and will debut boxing drama “Lights Out” on Jan. 11. Holt McCallany stars as a pugilist unsure whether to retire for health reasons or fight on in order to support his family.
