Network picks up 'Entourage' star's documentary
HBO remains in the Adrian Grenier business, picking up U.S. rights to the “Entourage” star’s documentary “Teenage Paparazzo.” Doc, which was directed by Grenier, centers on a 14-year-old paparazzo, Austin Visschedyk. Grenier happened to encounter Visschedyk on a night on the town — and decided to start filming the young photog and his world. But Grenier’s impact on the teen’s life soon overtakes the filming — and the actor must take responsibility for it. Also included in the doc are interviews with psychologists, historians and celebrities, all of whom discuss the “perks and consequences of media exposure.” Celebs on screen include Matt Damon, Eva Longoria, Paris Hilton, Alec Baldwin and Whoopi Goldberg. “Teenage Paparazzo” was an official selection at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Doc is from Reckless Prod., in association with JLoar Prods. and Bert Marcus Prods. Grenier and Matthew Cooke are the producers.
