King continues to expand

Graham King’s fiefdom continues to expand.

TNT and Endeavor alum Susan Oman Gross has been appointed exec VP of television for the GK-TV unit of King’s GK Films banner.

Gross will oversee all business and legal affairs for the TV wing. She’ll also be involved in strategic planning and creative decisions, reporting to GK-TV prexy Craig Cegielski.

Cegielski called Gross an “extremely savvy negotiator and creative business strategist.” Gross has spent the past few years working as a consultant, and she helped GK-TV close the deal on its first series production, the costume drama “Camelot” for pay cabler Starz.

Gross had spent 13 years with TNT. She helped launch the cabler’s original programming division, crafting the financing and distribution templates for its first telepic and series productions in her role as exec veep of business affairs and distribution. She served as head of biz affairs at Endeavor from 2004-06.

Gross said she was excited to be joining “an entrepreneurial company where I can be involved in all aspects of television.”

GK-TV was formed late last year.
