ABC is demonstrating its love for "No Ordinary Family," giving the frosh drama an order for four more scripts — which bodes well for the show's back-nine pickup.
"Family's" been performing well in a tough slot for the Alphabet, and compared to the rest of the net's rookies it's a real standout. So even before the script news hit this ayem, it's been a safe bet that Michael Chiklis and Co. will go the distance for a full season.
ABC also showed some renewed faith in Sunday sudser "Brothers and Sisters" with another four scripts ordered — reminding us that the show got less than a full 22 episode renewal at the end of last season.
And finally, Shonda Rhimes' "Off the Map," which is waiting in the wings for a midseason berth (methinks it'll be hauled out sooner rather than later) has been given an additional script order.
All three skeins hail from ABC Studios.
