Fox gambles on green party

Eco-Casino bash benefits charity

Despite benefiting the Nature Conservancy, Habitat for Humanity and Global Green USA, no good deed went unscrutinized at Fox’s Eco-Casino party at BOA Steakhouse. “They gotta do something to offset Glenn Beck,” said “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane.

A Beck-less abundance of Fox stars showed up to Monday’s event, including Jon Voight, Hugh Laurie and Omar Epps. While the “House” cast played it safe just chatting together outside, Kristen Schaal took her chances at the craps table, albeit for prizes instead of cash.

For at least one gambler, however, poker without money is a game without stakes. ” ‘There’s no risk,’ as someone famously said in a movie I was in,” quoted Voight, who still planned on partaking of the faux casino. “I’m always excited to be anywhere!”
