As we wrote a few days ago, fans of “FlashForward” gathered around the world on Thursday to fake a blackout for 2 minutes and 17 seconds — the length of the original “FlashForward” blackout as seen on the show.
It was a clever stunt. Folks inside ABC’s Burbank HQ said they only saw a handful of folks showup, however — and some fans may have been kept away my an overturned tanker on the nearby 134 freeway (which backed up traffic for miles).
The cast, crew and producers of “FlashForward” have all moved on — so a pickup isn’t going to happen. But you gotta admire the passion of the fans (who probably should be pissed off that the finale left them hanging to such a degree).
Meanwhile, here’s a similar protest/blackout in Chicago:
And here’s the one in Detroit, where ABC affiliate WXYZ did a story. Because, really, there’s nothing else going on in Detroit, right?
