Apparently the “Poison” frontman is vying for the title of “Hardest-Working-Almost-Died Man in Showbiz,” signing on to co-host NBC’s Miss Universe Pageant on Aug. 23.
Michaels, who suffered a brain hemorrhage in April, has been making a remarkable recovery since then. The rocker managed to make it to the live finale of Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” which he won, and has even squeezed in some tour dates since then.
But still… the guy was considered dead a few months ago. I repeat: TAKE THE SUMMER OFF.
But that’s not our rock star’s way. If anything, he’s been busier post-brain hemorrhage than the entire previous decade.
Michaels will host with “Today’s” Natalie Morales. The Miss Universe Pageant airs live from the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Orianthi will perform, as well as John Legend and NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” band (and stars in their own right) The Roots.
