So, the guy serving time at Rikers Island for larceny charges related to a reported blackmail attempt against you just got an Emmy nomination.
Wonder what David Letterman will do with that in his latenight monologue.
It’s true: Robert “Joe” Halderman is part of the CBS’ “48 Hours Mystery” team that the NATAS News and Documentary Emmys recognized with a nom for a report on Amanda Knox, the American college student found guilty of murder in Italy.
PBS received the most News and Doc Emmy nominations with 37, followed by CBS (31), HBO (20), National Geographic (19) and NBC (17).
More on the News and Doc Emmys soon on Variety.com. But for you hoops fans out there, Baron Davis and Michael Warren’s son Cash got one, too.
