Phil Gonzales and Lauri Metrose have been upped to the top PR posts at the Eye’s network and TV studio, respectively.
Gonzales is senior veep of communications for CBS Entertainment; Metrose holds the same post at CBS Television Studios. The duo continues to report to Chris Ender, senior VP of communications for CBS.
“In a world that moves very fast, they have mastered the art of balancing traditional, online and social media to enhance the audience and profile for all things CBS,” Ender said.
Gonzales had been a veep at CBS Entertainment since 2004. Before that, he spent years working with CBS Entertainment boss Nina Tassler and other key Eye execs at Warner Bros. TV. Gonzales joined WBTV’s PR department in 1992.
“He’s been the driving force behind iconic and memorable campaigns, and he is one of the most respected communications executives in our business,” Tassler said.
Metrose has been veep of CBS’ production arm since 2005. She joined its predecessor, Paramount Network TV, in 1998.
“Her passion, attention to detail, unique campaigns and big-picture vision enable us to thrive as a studio,” said CBS TV Studios prexy David Stapf.
