Base lines up Lyric series

Show to explore music, fashion

Base Prods. (“Jesse James Is a Dead Man”) has signed on to develop a series around the fashion brand Lyric Culture.

Founded by entrepreneur Hanna Rochelle Schmieder, Lyric Culture turns lyrics of artists like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson and others into T-shirts, leather, jewelry and accessories.

The Base show would explore the music and fashion cross-section found behind the scenes at Lyric Culture, following the inner workings of the company.

“In Hanna and her company, we have an opportunity to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the dynamic and creative worlds of fashion and music,” said Base Prods. co-CEO John Brenkus.

Lyric Culture has licensing deals with music publishers including Warner Chappell, Universal, EMI, Sony/ATV and Disney.
