Callan McAuliffe has joined the cast of “I Am Number Four.” Thesp will play the role of Sam, who becomes a friend and ally to the title character. McAuliffe can be seen next in “Flipped,” helmed by Rob Reiner.

Chad Willett and Brendan Sexton have boarded AMC pilot “The Killing.” The show revolves around the investigation into the murder of a girl while interlocking three stories as police chase leads. The two join a cast that includes Michelle Forbes and Bill Campbell.

Spencer List (“Offspring”) will join Michael Imperioli in the pic “Foreclosure.” List will play Imperioli’s son. Thesp was last seen in “Fringe.”

Angela Oh (“What Women Want”) has booked a recurring role on recent NBC skein pickup “Friends With Benefits.” Thesp was also cast in the skein “Aspen: The Series.”

China Shavers (“House”) has been added to the cast of Mike Mills’ “Beginners.” Ewan McGregor and Christopher Plummer also star. Shavers will play one of McGregor’s friends who tries to help him enjoy life one day at a time.ju
