Octavia Spencer (“Halloween II”) has landed the lead role in DreamWork’s “The Help.” The movie also stars Viola Davis, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Emma Stone. The pic tells the story of two African-American maids 1962 Jackson, Mississippi, Aibileen played by Davis and Minny and one white Junior League socialite Skeeter played by Stone who come together for a clandestine project that will put them all at risk.

Bodhi Elfman (“Love Hollywood Style”) has joined the cast of the pilot “Aspen: The Series.” The pilot centers around a down and out Hollywood writer played by Elfman who is given a second chance at his career when he accepts a job running a reality show, populated with a group of eclectic, outrageous characters in Aspen.

Efren Ramirez (“Napoleon Dynamite”) has booked a recurring role opposite Danny McBride in the upcoming second season of “Eastbound & Down.” Ramirez will play Kenny Powers’ new neighbor Catuey. Past credits include “Crank” and “Employee of the Month.”

Ariel Winter (“Speed Racer”) has landed the lead role opposite WWE star Triple H in the “Chaperone.” Winter can currently be seen playing Alex on ABC’s “Modern Family.”

Ana de la Reguera has joined the cast of “Cowboys and Aliens” helmed by Jon Favreau. She joins a cast that already includes Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford. The thesp was recently seen in “Cop Out” and is currently filming the second season of HBO’s “Eastbound and Down.”
