She’ll oversee all business and legal affairs for the startup shingle and will be a key player in developing distribution and financing strategies for its TV, film and digital projects.
Brooks spent 16 years at WMA, rising to worldwide head of business affairs for the agency’s TV department. She is highly regarded as a creative dealmaker with deep experience in a range of biz realms, including network syndication, cable, kidvid and new media. At WMA, she worked with Bruce Gersh, who co-founded FishBowl in January with producer Vin Di Bona. Brooks exited WMA last year after the agency’s merger with Endeavor.
